STAN LAPNISKY - DYNAMICS

The Dynamics have played with various groups since the 50’s. They have played together as a group for approximately 10 years. They play all styles of music and are available for weddings, parties, all types of functions in Alberta and British Columbia. They also entertain at various senior centres.
The members of the group consist of:
Stan Lapnisky – Accordion, from Millet, AB
Paul Hanasyk – Violin, from Edmonton, AB
Mike Sydora – Guitar and English vocals, from Edmonton, AB (born near Musidora, AB)
Wayne Wengreniuk – Drums and Ukrainian vocals, from Edmonton, AB (born near Norma)
THE DIAMONDS

The Diamonds Band consists of Craig Repchuk- Accordion, Keyboards, and Vocals; Peter Yacyshyn- Violin, Guitar; Bill Shekooley- Lead & Rhythm Guitar; Chester Chodzicki- Bass Guitar; Nestor Worobets-Trumpet, Bass Guitar and Vocals.
The band is becoming known far and wide for their snappy polkas, dreamy waltzes, beautiful foxtrots, traditional Ukrainian dance numbers, other ethnic music, rock ’n roll, Latin American and Country music.
A night club dance, a wedding dance, a stage presentation, a banquet, or any type of party, “The Diamonds Band” will suit the type of occasion with their up-beat dance music.
All of the band members are versatile musicians and have years of experience playing with several other bands and performers. Their sincere dedication and love of music is evident in the energy they bring to every performance. The Diamonds Band plays on a regular basis for dances throughout Edmonton and the province for audiences that keep on coming back for more.
THE NIGHTHAWKS
July 2, 3:00 - 5:00 PM
The Nighthawks band was formed about three years ago and consists of four members who have each played with other bands for over 50 years. The members are: Norm Pelletier, the leader, on rhythm guitar, Harry Wanechko on the saxophone, Tom Gargus on the fiddle and saxophone, and Ted Kitsco on piano and accordion. They play regularly for all kinds of functions as well as playing for seniors in lodges and nursing homes. There is a variety of music as well as traditional Ukrainian and they pride themselves in being considered a high energy band.
