Festival Market Booths (Yarmarok)

July 2,3,4 - 8:30 AM - Gates Open. Main activities begin around 10 - 11:00 AM

All scheduled events will go on, rain or shine, as provisions are made for major attractions to be under cover in the event of rain.

Please download and submit the booth application via fax.

The FESTIVAL MARKET will be held in a building to be identified as the FESTIVAL MARKET (YARMAROK). (This is the same building where the Yarmarok was held in for the last several years. We have room for 37 booths maximum on the two long sides and back-to-back down the middle. Festival Express will be operated with a stop at this marketplace. The building has an asphalt floor and is wheelchair accessible.

FESTIVAL MARKET BOOTHS will consist of the following:

  • Approx. 10, 15, or 20 foot frontage, or multiples thereof as per request, 10 feet deep
  • 3 foot curtain partition between booths; 8’ back wall
  • 1 – 6 or 8 foot table, 30" wide, 2 chairs (additional tables available at $10 a table extra charge)
  • Access to power only if requested (at additional cost of $20)
  • Any other props will be the responsibility of the vendor.

FEES:

  • $175 per 10-foot indoor booth for the 3 days
  • $200 per self contained RV unit for outdoor display and sales (No props supplied)

(Includes one 3-day vehicle pass, two adult 3-day gate passes, two Grandstand passes for the show of your choice, valued at $61.00 or any combination of the three to meet your needs).

(Gate passes include admission to the Band Showcase, Cultural Showcases, Pioneer Demos, Competitions, Folk Art Displays, and other venues)
(Our third party rental costs for booth set up are $60.00)
SET UP: Thursday, July 1 late PM or Friday, July 2, before 10 AM
No vehicles inside the building during business hours.

BUSINESS HOURS:

July 2 - 10 AM to 7 PM
July 3 - 10 AM to 7 PM
July 4 - 11 AM to 5 PM
All vendors will stay open for business until the advertised closing time.

APPLICATION DEADLINE:

May 30, 2010. As the number of booths available is limited, fully paid applications will be given priority in the order they are received. The committee reserves the right to select applications based on type of vendor and the time of receipt.

FESTIVAL MARKET BOOTH CONTRACT PROVISIONS

  1. Rental fee is for the use of space only.
  2. At no time will electrical services used in the booth exceed the capacity of the power provided to that space.
  3. Extension cords, lights, props are the responsibility of the vendor, which must be confined to the space rented.
  4. As a good neighbour, each Booth vendor shall avoid blocking the view of a neighbour's booth.
  5. There shall be no subletting, re-assigning or transferring of the rental space to a third party.
  6. Goods for sale should generally but not necessarily be related to the spirit of the Festival; that is, Ukrainian theme in nature, dress or decorations. Other goods will be considered at the discretion of the Committee.
  7. Space is to be used only for the sale of products as approved by the Association from the list submitted in the application. The Festival must approve any amendments to the list.
  8. The vendor must have someone in the booth during all business hours.
  9. The Association reserves the right to limit NOISE or anything else that distracts from the spirit of the trade show.
  10. For security, the facility will be locked during non-business hours.
  11. The vendor shall be liable for any damage caused to the facility or props by the vendor.
  12. The vendor shall be responsible for any insurance for their merchandise.THE ASSOCIATION DOES NOT ASSUME ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR GOODS LOST OR DAMAGED WHILE IN THE DISPLAY AREA OR IN TRANSIT TO OR FROM IT.
  13. Acceptance or rejection of applications by the Association is final. Factors will include: relationship of items for sale to Festival theme, relationship to the overall variety offered, availability of space, and order of receipt of application and payment.
