I was born in Buchach, in western Ukraine. At eight years, I began to play the violin. At fourteen, I discovered the bayan, an accordian type instrument with buttons. After eight years of Musical School,I successfully graduated with a diploma. 
Due to the war, my family left Ukraine. We joined my aunty and her family in Saskatoon. I joined the musical group Lastivka. I was very excited to get an invitation from them. I have been playing with them for five months. We have had many fundraising concerts in support of Ukraine.
