Volunteers are vital to the organization and operation of the Vegreville Cultural Association and the Pysanka Festival. Our not-for-profit organization has continued for five decades as a result of the dedication and passion of the people, many of whom are descendants of Ukrainians who called the Vegreville area home for more than 120 years.

Countless hours go into the planning, preparation, and execution of the Festival every year; this is all done with volunteers! Without our volunteers we simply would not be able to provide our community and its visitors with an event such as this.

With over 60 different areas requiring volunteers either throughout the year in preparation, in the days leading up to the Festival, during the Festival, or in the days after, there is absolutely no way we could do this without our volunteers!  Thank you!
